Roadmarking Equipment We design and manufacture our own range of equipment. This came about as a result of our contracting division's requirement for equipment that could handle the rigours of everyday work in Africa by strong un-skilled and semi-skilled labour. We found that the beautiful precision engineered equipment available from Europe and North America would end up on the scrap heap in short order following enthusiastic operation by our staff and clients. After attempting to modify the above equipment to take the strain and pain, it soon became apparent that purpose-built equipment would be needed if we were going to create meaningful equipment that would have the following essential parameters:- Minimum down-time To any contractor, time is money and we need equipment that will not break easily, be simple to repair and be cheap enough to have spares or spare units "in stock" to avoid any work stoppages. Economical Low initial start up/purchase costs, low running costs, low repair/replacement costs. Made from as much "local-content" materials and engineering services as possible. Durability Simple modular construction, extra strong design, ability to take extreme operator abuse and neglect, simplicity of repair, easy availability of spares. Flexibility Capable of painting intricate factory floor markings, car parks, roadways, race tracks and airport markings all with the same basic machine. To achieve these goals we have come up with a equipment which has been tested, modified and fine tuned over the last 12 years to achieve the requirements of professional contractors.
