Road Marking
Our History
Numberline was formed in 1981 as a painting company dedicated to working on car parks and roadways to handle new and rehabilitation work.
In the past 31 years that we have been operating, we have completed many prestige projects including most of the original work at the following projects:
|
Sandton City
|
Eastgate
|
More recently we have completed most of the new parking areas at Sandton City, as well as the N12 between Uncle Charlie’s and Reading interchanges, Pick & Pay & Unilever distribution centers.
Our maintenance contracts included those at Sasol 2/3 Secunda with roadways of over 240km. We are able to work throughout South Africa and do operate across the border of South Africa.
Equipment
We use only purpose built roadmarking equipment designed to spray roadmarkings at the Gautrans specified (and Nationally accepted Committee of Land Transport Officials COLTO) spread rates for roadmarking paint. This ensures that the paint is correctly applied in a professional manner without any thin areas or "splatter" occuring. No rollers or paint brushing is used. Our equipment is capable of working 24 hours a day on car parks, municipal work, longline (highways) and factory floor work. All personnel are South Africans and most of them have been employed by us for 10 years or more.
Materials
Only SABS approved roadmarking paint is used. It is applied without any thinners or solvents being added. Our equipment sprays directly from the suppliers drum onto the road surface. SABS certificates and paint sample tests can be supplied upon request.
Staff
Many of our operating staff have been with us over 15 years and we have a depth of experience that enables us to work to a high standard and to your exact requirements. The management team has over 50 years combined experience in the roadworks industry.
We have our own in-house training programme which ensures a depth of knowledge amongst all the staff.
Safety and Protection
All our workers wear light "dayglow" yellow safety bibs and our vehicles and equipment all have the correct orange warning lights, red flags and beacons as required. Plastic barrier tape and road cones are used to close off areas to ensure that freshly marked lines are not damaged whilst paint is drying.
Flexi Hours
Our teams are capable of working to suit your particular time constraints. We can work after-hours and on weekends at a very small extra fee to ensure that your staff and customers suffer the minimum of inconvenience.
Budgets for Maintenance of Markings
We are very willing to discuss an annual budget to match your requirements and to assist you in developing a maintenance programme to suit. This will allow your site to keep a well maintained and presentable appearance without you having to be involved in a constant "watchdog" situation. Regular inspections and programmes can be done by our team and presented for your approval.
Quotations
We will be happy to come out to your site to measure and assess your requirements or to work off drawings or bills or quantity. Send us your information and we will have prices and ideas back to you, usually within 24 hours.
